DREAM IT Cultural Arts Summer Camp @SETLC

DREAM IT Cultural Arts Summer Camp @SETLC is a vibrant, 6-week program designed to immerse young minds in history through reading, drama, music, dance, and costuming. Each week, participants explore a different book that highlights influential historical figures and key moments in time. As they dive into these stories, they will bring them to life by performing scenes, creating costumes, and learning songs and dances inspired by the era.

Whether they’re stepping into the shoes of a historical figure or recreating a moment of significance, DREAM IT provides a unique and engaging experience that combines education with the arts. Perfect for kids who love to learn, perform, and dream big!

In partnership with the Department of Recreation (DPR), District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), District of Columbia Public Charter Schools (DCPCSB), the Recreation Wish List Committee (RWLC) offers enriched programming to support the children and families in Wards 7 and 8 in the District of Columbia. RWLC, a community-based, not-for-profit organization, employs research-based strategies and activities to support and identify the academic needs of scholars and their families.
